I don't go to all the games and i don't have a season ticket (poor student and all that), but i do get to quite a few of the home games. So i usually move around the places i sit. I usually sit in the east stand, but have been in the south stand too. There are a lot of families in the east stand, but you usually get a good roar even if there is only the odd song. I think as long as you are shouting the players on though that's the main thing.
I've noticed they have stopped playing "hey Jude" before the match starts too. They played it most of last season and the begining of this one. Maybe they just thought it was getting old, i dunno, but i thought it was pretty cute and it would always get the crowd going!
Anyways the support was good in the east stand today and the players even got a good cheer off even though we lost which is always nice to see.
