Well it has been widely reported that if Beckham fails to reach the magic ton this time round,that he could well get the magic ton in a sentimental game that has been arranged between the English FA and the US FA for may.
I call this a sentimental game as it seems that this game has specifically been arranged to enable Becks to be capped his 100th cap against the very same country that he plys his trade in and has given a new height of profile for their own football [soccer]status.Plus it has come across to me that this is the game set up to bid a graciuos farewell to seeing Beckham on the International stage anymore giving him a last match to remember and his name forever carved into the football history books of England being one of a elite band of players to reach 100 caps.
This is where imo he will gain his craved for 100th cap and just to highlight the fact of this and his final appearance within an England shirt he will no doubt walk out at wembley this game as captain one more time,yet i expect to see him in the final 23 for the france game but just as a cameo role player on the bench not to get a game,just to use as the hype to sell tickets...

I will say one thing though,no-one can really knock him for England other than he is now not good enough to play 90mins of international level football now and he is getting on abit and now we need to be looking at the younger generation for the future world cup qualifying.Solely because on one or more occassions when we have all sat there heads down,hearts aching he has from somewhere and somehow became Englands and our own saviour to be put on a momentous pedastol by us all.........whether he deserves the honor of joining the elite 100 band is something that is debatable and will be for many a year and no doubt long after i'm dead...
