David Beckham has spoken of his delight in the prospects of reaching and claiming his 100th cap against France this week. The LA Galaxy player who was left out of Fabio Capellos first squad has been recalled to take a place within this second England squad picked by Capello.Beckham made it clear he has no intentions to retirer after eventually gaining his 100th cap, quoted as saying:
"Its an honour."but insisted that he does not wish to stop there for playing for England."Its not about having your 100th game and then retire. Its about carrying on and trying to play well for my Country."
To reach 100 caps is quite an acheivement by any player imo,and whether we like the man or not it has to be said congrats should be the order of the day for Beckham, who in his time has been the saviour of despair for England on afew occassions.

However though his chances of further caps are getting smaller and smaller as Capello looks at testing younger players for the future England team, and that with this in mind most new additional caps will no-doubt come from being a subsitute.
