Default E-Banks facing prison

Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake was today charged with assault in connection with an alleged bottle attack at a nightclub.

The 21-year-old is accused of actual bodily harm and a public order offence following a fracas at the Candy Store nightclub in Plymouth in November. A 37-year-old man was left with a 3in cut to his head in the alleged attack.

Ebanks-Blake, who has scored twice in four games for Wolves since leaving Plymouth Argyle last month for £1.5 million, was given police bail and will appear before Plymouth Magistrates on February 20.

He was arrested hours after Argyle’s 3-0 Championship victory over Norwich City at Home Park. Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed Ebanks-Blake was today charged and rebailed.

Meanwhile Wolves today froze Early Bird season ticket prices for the fourth consecutive year.

The price freeze will see around 18,000 fans paying between £384 and £464 for season tickets next year – if they renew before March 14. Individual match tickets will go up by £1 a game.
