A simple game to play based on fixed-odds betting.
PLEASE note: there is NO actual betting taking place. Simply pretend stakes, with pretend money as a competition.
1. First of all you pick a game to bet on.
The game MUST be on Ladbrokes.com, but otherwise can be from any league, at any time.
However you may only pick ONE game per day maximum. This runs on the 24 hour clock from 00:00 to 23:59 GMT.
2. Next pick the side you want to win, either home or away, or you can pick for the game to be a draw.
Only 90 minutes (and injury time) counts for the result. Extra-time and penalties etc. do not count for the result.
The match must be picked at least an hour before the kick-off, and the post up on the forum an hour before kick-off.
3. Find the odds listed on Ladbrokes.com for whichever result you have chosen.
These odds are fixed and may only be taken from the site stated. Odds will be checked.
4. Quote how much you would like to stake on each game. This is the amount you want to bet.
The minimum amount per game is £1. The maximum per game is £10. Any amount in between must be a whole £.
5. Post the bet up on the forum
This is the layout required, please try to adhere to it, as it will help when we update current standings.
Date of Match
Team A Vs Team B
Team A to beat Team B
Odds of 3/1
Stake of £3
6. Sit back, enjoy the action, and chat on
www.footballchatforum.com whilst you wait!
The results will be calculated and updated at the earliest time possible.
Now, as each match is played, you may find yourself gaining money from winning bets. This is all added together. However, you may also find yourself losing should you bet incorrectly. The trick is to bet enough to increase your total, without choosing the wrong games.
NOTE: You must make a minimum of 10 bets per calender month to qualify. You may make as many bets as you wish up to the "One bet per day rule".
Any changes to these rules will be published on the forum and updates anounced. However you must ensure your bets are valid before submitting them, otherwise they will be considered void.
If you have any questions, please ask in the questions thread.
Thanks all.
