How strange you mention such a day in football history,as i was also in attendance at that game.One of many memories from the good old days,where fans and teams feared coming to the Old Den and feared having the Millwall team and fans visiting their places.
I will always remember the point of the OB storming onto the pitch with horses and dogs,and being confronted by this huge animal ushering a group of us back to the now self-made terrace (after the seats got ripped out)and as we turned around we were faced by two dogs baring all their teeth and having to duck at the last minute to avoid being lamped in the head by another fly seat aimed at the OB.

One of many days of high passion for violence from days gone by,and i dare say if you were not from the side of blue,it was quite scary stuff as another story i have would suggest..(another time though)
