Liverpool v Barnsley
Just over ten years ago Barnsley caused a real stir by beating Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield in the Premiership. It was possibly the greatest ever result in the history of the town that brought us Kes, Arthur Scargill and Harold 'Dickie' Bird. This weekend they are 16/1 outsiders against the five-time European Cup winners and despite the odds I don't reckon there will be many townsfolk queuing, flat caps on and whippets in hand, to back the Tykes. They are doing OK in the Championship and while Liverpool haven't been pulling up many trees themselves of late, they looked in decent nick against Chelsea last weekend and I fancy them to have a bit too much here. The Reds are struggling to find the old onion bag with any real regularity but only Manchester United have conceded less goals in the Premiership so I'll be having a wedge on them winning this one without conceding.
