Edwards 'We need a win'
Rob Edwards knows Wolves need a quick reversal of fortunes when they face a buoyant Stoke this weekend.
The disappointing 3-0 defeat at Watford came after the team had enjoyed a mini revival with three wins on the bounce.
Despite being in 11th place, Wolves are still only two points off the play-off positions. But with a large chasing pack, a win is vital on Saturday.
"We can't afford to go two or three games without a win," says Rob.
"We need to turn it around straight away and get that win as soon as possible.
"Stoke will be a big test but I think every game will be from now until the end of the season.
"It will be a physical challenge, just like the Watford game, because they're big and quite direct.
"They're playing well and it's a tough one for us.
"We're still only two points off the play-offs but we could have been in there if we'd have won on Saturday - so it was a real opportunity missed.
"It's points dropped that we can't really afford to drop right now.
Rob started the game at Vicarage Road in place of the injured Neill Collins.
He added: "You don't take much pleasure from playing and starting when you've lost 3-0.
"I'm absolutely gutted. I'll look at my own performance and see which bits are good and which bits weren't so good. I'm sure there are things I can improve on.
"It was a very disappointing result. In the first half it looked as if we might be able to get into the game after conceding early but we didn't really do it in the second half and you can see the result now."
