Keegan Will Fight To Keep N'zogbia
Kevin Keegan is ready to put up a fight in order to keep Charles N'Zogbia at St James's Park.
There was a lot of speculation throughout January that the 21-year old may be moving elsewhere with Tottenham looking keen to sign him.
However, the Newcastle boss let the north London club know that N'Zogbia was not for sale but is aware that Spurs could come back in for the winger in the summer.
A move to the capital may suit N'Zogbia, not just for footballing reasons, as his widowed mother and sister are currently living there.
Despite signing a new five-year contract under former boss Sam Allardyce, Keegan admits that N'Zogbia does not seem entirely happy at the club.
"Charles came to see me about all the speculation," Keegan said.
"He's just signed a new contract here, but it's something we'll have to revisit again in the summer, because the signs are that he's not that happy here.
"But this is a big club, and we've got two or three months to work with him."
Despite N'Zogbia being apparently unhappy he has continued to give his all for the club. During the derby against Middlesbrough on Sunday, N'Zogbia was arguably Newcastle's best player.
He has also played out of position recently to cover at left-back for the injured Jose Enrique and has done so without any complaints.
