No loan to replace kites
Mick McCarthy is unlikely to look for a loan signing to cover the continued absence of Michael Kightly.
The Wolves winger is undergoing surgery to his ankle today and faces an uphill battle to make a return before the end of the season.
The boss says: "Michael's been out since the end of November and we haven't brought anyone in during that time.
"Stephen Elliott has been excellent and has done well when he has played in that (right wing) role.
"If I did bring someone in I wouldn't play them ahead of Stephen.
It's always something for us to think about but would we get anyone better than what we've got.
"Unless I thought they were better then there's no point."
Wolves have been boosted by news that Matt Jarvis (hip) and Wayne Hennessey (concussion) have both been declared fit to travel for tomorrow's game at Colchester (KO 3pm).
