Keane Calls for Home Comfort
Sunderland manager Roy Keane has challenged his players to carry on their impressive home record as they prepare for a nerve-jangling end to the Premier League season.
The Black Cats are without an away league win all season, and only a stunning record at the Stadium of Light has kept Keane's side above the dreaded drop-zone.
Sunderland have registered more home wins than Liverpool and Portsmouth this season, and with Everton and Chelsea travelling to the North East in coming weeks - Keane has urged his team to continue their home dominance.
"The games coming up at home are crucial but then all the games in this league are important," Keane told the club's official website.
Fighting
"I expect this battle to go right to the end. We've got to stay strong and keep believing - we're in there fighting.
"Our home form has been decent and with our fans behind us I'm sure we'll give anyone a game.
"It's going to be tight until the end of the season. Some teams got a good result last week and are on a bit of a high, we're on a bit of a low.
"It's up to us to bounce back now."
