Boca Juniors coach Carlos Ischia will be able to call on Hugo Ibarra and Pablo Ledesma once more, as the pair returned to full training ahead of the game with Gimnasia La Plata on Sunday.
Ischia has had to do without the two players for much of his short spell in charge of the Buenos Aires giants and will be glad for the opportunity to add some extra quality to his squad.
Ibarra suffered sinovitis in the knee during Boca's trip to face UA Maracaibo in Venezuela, having only just recovered from the injury he picked up in pre-season, and was forced to miss last weekend's victory over San Martin San Juan.
Ledesma has missed the entirety of the 2008 campaign so far, but has now fully recovered from the pubic area pain that had forced him to do so.
Both took part in a small sided game on Thursday for around seventy minutes and looked to be nearing full fitness.
If they are considered in good enough shape to start the game against Gimansia La Plata then Ibarra will replace Jonathan Maidana at right-back and Ledesma could resume his usual slot on the right of the midfield diamond in place of Lucas Castromán.
Speaking after the session, Ledesma iterated his desire to get back into the team and help Boca improve over the coming weeks.
"I felt very well after a long time out without playing football and I have the desire to return. The team is improving little by little and as each game passes we will only get better," he told De Una con La Red.
