Can Villa Make Europe?

Just interested to hear you guys opinions on Villa this season

I'm chuffed with our progress under MON - we have been in need of a quality manager like him for years - it's true what they say good things do come to those who wait

To be fair i wasn't expecting us to be in the top-6 at this stage - MON made it clear it would take 3-years for us to be chasing Europe so for us to where we are it fantastic

I say this as we have the smallest squad in the league so if you would of said we would be in the top-6 in Feb - scored more goals than any other side apart from the top-2 - own the cross leader in the league - and had 5 players called up for England i would of prolly chocked on my Corn-Flakes

The thing i admire is we have a team willing to bust a gut for there manager and fans every week - having them commited is a great start if your going to acheive things - we may not have the biggest of names but there all solid players that go about there business the right way - and have a class gaffer to lead them

So guys can we make it?

I'm not a great lover of it - but by all accounts we will only have to play one 2 leg tie to qualify

Defence is fairly sound to be honest

The only problem is the RB slot - we only have Mellberg there who is a CB by trade but can fill in - but his head is in Italy with his move to Juventus in July - Gardner can play there also but is a CM

We have Knight - Laursen and Davies at CB - Bouma as LB with Barry dropping inbetween

Loans? - think thats impossible now ain't it?

To be honest Villa have a decent team dont really think they need anyone else right now

I think Villa will get in the UEFA Cup through the league. Got a good team and picking up good points. Got a pretty good team and when Villa are in their element they are a very difficult team to beat, so I think Villa have what it takes.
