If i was him i'd stay at Wolves where i no ii'm going to play every week for a team that respects me - rather than jump ship for a better wage packet and sit on the bench as backup every week

He is certainly good enough to play in the Premiership - but don't think he would be a starter instantly - he is at a good club i have seen so many players who think the grass is always greener on the other side that end up either being forgot about - or flopping - he's young is chance will come in the future

Wolves are a bigger club that Derby regardless what league there in - FACT

We've gone off topic a bit folks, back to Scott Carson! Wasn't a price agreed when he first went on loan? Are Villa waiting until the end of the season to perhaps 'renegotiate' the fee?

Back to carson....after hearing what villa said maybe they are seeing what else is around but they should let him know

If he's going to be part of Rafa's plans why don't Liverpool say "we want you back to fight for a 1st team slot" or, if not, tell the bloke "Find another club, Villa or someone else, willing to meet our valuation of you and you can leave"?

i doubt he's part of liverpools plans because liek you say if he was then surely they would of called him back or even told him.

He needs his agent to get his finger out and canvass the market for an alternative if the Villa decide he's not for them. How can it be that an England international, seen as a possible #1 for his country, can't find a club?

It was just a straight loan deal Chopper - but Liverpool said we could buy him for 10m at the end of the season it needed

Liverpool would only recieve 6m tho as 4m will go to Leeds to an agreement they have when they signed him so cheaply

Anyway, back to a sensible post! I agree with Kate that Â£10m is a ridiculous price for Carson. Compare him to Craig Gordon (25 years old, 30 or so Scotland caps, over 200 first team appearances, Scottish Cup winner) who went to Sunderland for Â£9m and you'll no doubt agree Carson's not worth Â£5m, at the moment.

agree with ya. Like i say i rate him but not at 10m. Also like you say Gordan who i rate highly only went for 9m and imo they aint in the same league in terms of quality. Maybe in time he will be as good but at the moment he's not
