Thats basically my point

It's ok earning 25m going up - but only if you spend it on players - most sides pay the bills to keep the club in the black - where as at the end of the season with relegation only to there name - there back to square one - back in the CCC and back in the red

Where as if they just took the gamble and spent the 25m - then they would of prolly had a cracking chance of staying up - so it seems pointless

I don't think any team can fully prepare for what they face when they get to the Prem. Most promoted teams end up like Derby and Sunderland.... so if City do get promoted I won't be crowing I will only do that if we survive a season in the Prem and are still there at the end of it!!!

Is it true that Hull is the largest city in Eurpoe not to have a top flight team? Sure I read tht somewhere but the old grey matter might be letting me down!

Yes 'chopper' its true we have NEVER played in the top flight during our 104 year history!!! We are just biding our time
