Bayern Munich midfielder Jose Sosa has vowed to remain at the Allianz Arena and fight for his place despite reports linking him with a return to Argentina.
The 22-year old, who celebrates his birthday in four days, was one of the most highly-rated exports from Estudiantes after helping the side to their first league title for 25 years in 2006.
The industrious Argentina international was linked with a host of European clubs before securing a £4 million move to Bayern Munich in August 2007, but he has struggled to make an impact in the Bundesliga.
Despite making just eight starts during the last campaign, Sosa is determined to win over manager Jurgen Klinsmann and establish himself at Bayern.
He told Radio La Red: "To change teams at this moment would be illogical.
"Before the season finished I had chance to talk with Jurgen Klinsmann and he said that I would be considered next season.
"The conversation was very positive and that's why I think going back to Argentina at this time would not be right.
"I have no intention of heading back to Argentina at this moment, this is my first year in Europe and I want to go on improving."
The task will not be easy for Sosa with the likes of Franck Ribery, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mark van Bommel all vying for a starting berth.
