Default glen ferguson 500 goals

Was quite a while ago so he will probably have a lot more now that he acheived this but i think its a great acheivement

i wonder why no one has brought him over to england, always been scoring in the irish league.

It's the Irish league we're talking about? Hardly a top flight is it? If he'd scored 100 in one season in that league he's still not win the European Golden boot because the strength, or weakness, of the league is taken into consideration and, say, Ronaldo with 30+ would be taken so much more seriously that 100 in a season wouldn't even get him [Ferguson] the Bronze Boot!

The same comments apply but when you consider the Irish transfer record fee he went for it gives you an idea of the level at which he's been playing - £55,000 in 1998 is probably less than the transfer fee of many a Conference player at the time. Denis Law went from Huddersfield to Man City for £55,000 ................... in 1960, nearly 3 decades before Glen Ferguson.
