Default Cahill out for rest of the season!

Quote:
Everton's Tim Cahill looks set to miss the rest of the season after suffering a reoccurrence of a long-standing foot injury.

Cahill was forced to leave the field after just 10 minutes in last Saturday's 1-1 draw against West Ham United.

The attacking midfielder then missed Australia's midweek international versus China.

And there are now fears that Cahill has aggravated a metatarsal fracture he suffered last March.

Battle for fourth

The 28-year-old has been in impressive form since he returned from his troublesome injury last November, netting 10 goals for David Moyes' side.
A real shame for Everton. He is a big player for them and I rate him alot!

The news of Cahill missing the rest of the season is a devastating blow for Everton, since he signed from Millwall he has been an insirpation for the toffees.
When he first signed a good friend of mine asked for my opinion of Cahill and what he'll do for Everton, being an life-long Evertonion....
I told him straight,to lose Timmy to you lot breaks my heart and Millwall will suffer for the sale(proved right),but being one who has seen Cahill rise through the game to his standing now i also told him that if Cahill is on fire and in form he'll be the differance between Everton being mid-table like of recent times prior signing and fighting for Europe each season like nowadays.

Tim Cahill is a big impacter in games and proved to be that everytime he is out injured as the team is never the same without him.
Always rated him from day one and feel that the man is never fully given the right praise for his talents....And even now he is missed greatly by fans of Millwall.
