Huckerby's no longer a Premiership player but I wouldn't be surprised to see him back at Coventry or even Leeds next season?

That was some time ago, he wouldn't be able to do it now. Strictly a Championship player at best.

never liked Huckerby for some reason. Maybe we will sign him...we seem to sign all the ancient players lol

Millwall had him a couple of seasons back on loan,huckerby done quite well for us too.
Nearly became a permant fixture also,but better money came from elsewhere after reportedly saying he was staying.

Word on the street here in the land where your wife is often also your daughter is that Huckerby was on Â£25k a week when they were in the Premiership but now on Â£15k.

Is that all,i'll be happy to earn a fraction of that a week..

if i remember rightly it was Norwich he went permently to from his millwall loan,and on that money no wonder he changed his mind..

I was offered terms by both Hibs and Portsmouth back in, oh, '82 with Hibs offering Â£75 a week and Pompey Â£175 a week! How times have changed!

Thats a major inflation on weekly terms from then to now,and back then a player earnt al their wages unlike todays stars.

If you dont mind me asking who did you use to ply your trade with Chopper,and are you still involved in the game ??
