Craig Gordon! In a year or so's time, say by 2010, people will recognise him as not only the best 'keeper in the Premiership but in all likelihood, the best in Europe, if not the World. Keane got an absolute steal! Mark my words!

He has his moments, thats for sure, one of the better ones we have had in my time, BUT only sometimes, he needs more consistancy at the moment, I dont blame him though because sometimes this season, our back 4 have been more transparant than what they have on sale at the safestyle UK shop

Big Craig never let us down but the Premiership does have a better quality of player than the SPL so it will take him a wee while to adjust but it'll make him a better 'keeper than he already is and I genuinely believe in a couple of years people will stop talking about Buffon and Cech and the like and recognise him as THE #1.

3rd most expensive keeper in the world, behind only Peruzzi and Buffon, says a lot, and its great to see us spending that sort of money, what we need now is a top quality centre half, I'd like Wes Brown or similar, but Jonny Evans is a cracking prospect and i'd not be worried if we signed him up on a permanent deal

my team next year would ideally be

GK - GORDON
RB - BARDSLEY
LB - D.COLLINS
CB - BROWN
CB - EVANS
RW - EDWARDS/NEW SIGNING
LW - REID (IF HE GETS SOME POUNDS OFF!)
CM - ETUHU
AM - EAGLES
ST - K.JONES
ST - MURPHY/NEW SIGNING
