Question Can this be beaten
It said on local radio, that a chap camped the night from 11pm last night ( 2 March) waiting for tickets for the quarter finals at Oakwell for Barnsley versus Chelsea match, when the tickets didnt go on sale till 9am this morning (3rd March). Can anyone beat this waiting for tickets ?

Cant say that i can beat the camping out,but i did set out mega early on the day before the very last game ever at Millwalls old ground The Den to get two tickets.It was about 6:30am and when arriving there the gates were shut so i got fed up waiting around and attempted to climb the gates when the then Chairman Reg Burr arrived and asked what i was doing!

So in telling the man my story of requiring two tickets and why he told me to wait for the gates to open,but before they did open and about 10-15mins later Reg Burr came back with two tickets for the game in his hands for me.....and that game a proposal went out to my missus and as they say the rest is history...

I havent forgiven him for not being able to get tickets for the north terrace,my life - time supportering of Millwall place of homage...

18 years at the end of the month!

And by the look of me it's been a long 18 years! But I wouldn't swap Mrs. 'Chopper' for any other, she's my rock!
