you could be very well right there chopper,our past proformances compared to scotlands are imo well and truly under par...and as for scotland they have certainly over the last two years started to turn peoples heads,they deserve the rise in the ranks and fulll credit to them for coming back from the wilderness that they have been in on the international scene for so long.

Why, thank you my Den dwelling friend! I used to go to the old Den with my father-in-law who lived in Sidcup but came from Deptford, and was at the notorious Luton game! Happy days but scary stuff if you were not wearing a blue scarf!!

How strange you mention such a day in football history,as i was also in attendance at that game.One of many memories from the good old days,where fans and teams feared coming to the Old Den and feared having the Millwall team and fans visiting their places.
I will always remember the point of the OB storming onto the pitch with horses and dogs,and being confronted by this huge animal ushering a group of us back to the now self-made terrace (after the seats got ripped out)and as we turned around we were faced by two dogs baring all their teeth and having to duck at the last minute to avoid being lamped in the head by another fly seat aimed at the OB.

One of many days of high passion for violence from days gone by,and i dare say if you were not from the side of blue,it was quite scary stuff as another story i have would suggest..(another time though)

I may not have been a 'true' Blue but Fred 'The Spread' was so I had to pretend to be a Lion too! Just as well I did! I well remember the Sherringham, 'Rino', Cascarino, Carter days but one gypo stood out for me, Terry "yellowcard" Hurlock!

They were the days of legend makers down in the gritty south,Terry Hurlock a true Lions legend "oldboy",feared no man and made all men fear... "cheesy" "RockyII"
The man along with Mick McCarthy wore his heart on his sleeve and sweated blue for the club and had no worries about standing in the centre circle squaring up to some other player just for looking like they were enjoying the game (so it seemed some times)."argue"

my father-in-law went to school with him,and i got a job which happened to have me being a work colleague of his dad.A legend never to be forgotten by the millwall faithful and what two players brought into the club to replace him...........one Malcolm 'mad-dog' Allen and the one and only Alex 'stinger' Rae,The only two imo who were capable of filling the void left by Hurlocks departure.."icon_headbang"
