Spain may be banned from international competition if their government tries to intervene in the election process of the Spanish Football Federation

Fifa president Sepp Blatter is unhappy with a rule forcing Spain's non-Olympic sporting federations to hold elections before the Beijing Games

What a farse - why not ban them for a valid reason like being a bunch of racist scum that continue to get away with everything they do?

If they get banned there be knocked out Euro 08 - plus banned from playing in Europe

If my memory serves me well, FIFA have in the past banned some associations, African I think, for just such interference so the Spanish had better watch their step.

It's about time tho to be honest don't you think?

Back when there coach was racist towards Henry something more should of been done apart from a 200 squid fine - altho i remember them being warned about there future conduct

Was only a few weeks after that there was all that racist chanting during a league game with lighters and coins being chucked at the coloured players - both clubs were fined and warned like the International squad

And now this - so they have been warned twice so surely a third time takes the biscuit - well the whole packet infact - it's time to act and get them banned to send out a message IMO
