Alex Bruce has been called up into the full Republic of Ireland squad for their friendly against Brazil on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old defender has one senior cap to his name after making his debut against Ecuador last summer and was also on the bench for their 2008 European Championship qualifier in Wales.
Also on international duty is Owen Garvan, who is away with the Republic of Ireland U21 squad for their European Championship game against England at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium on Tuesday.
The midfielder is joined in the squad by Town team-mates, Billy Clarke and Shane Supple, both of whom will join up with Falkirk on loan for the rest of season after the game.
Chris Casement is away with Northern Ireland U21s while Velice Sumulikoski is in the Macedonia squad for their friendly against Serbia on Wednesday.
