Bradford City have announced plans to move home fans back into the Bradford End of Valley Parade next season after supporters voted in favour of the move.
The Bradford End - now known as the TL Dallas Stand - was opened in 1992, but has been used by away fans since 1995.
Manager Stuart McCall told BBC Radio Leeds: "When I played here it was great kicking at the Bradford End when the fans were behind the goal.
"It does help, especially if they're getting behind you."
The stand holds up to 1,800 fans but has rarely been more than half full for games in League Two this season, with Rochdale's away contingent of 941 the largest for a league match so far.
From next season away fans will be moved to the two end blocks in the Midland Road stand, which would seat 1,300 supporters. Another block could be opened for teams with larger away support.
Joint chairman Mark Lawn said: "I said when I first came in that I was going to look at it and see if we could actually get the end back for them.
"I think it's their home and I'm hoping that they can be more vociferous - if they can."
Home fans wanting to move into the Bradford End next season will be able to buy season tickets when they go on sale on Monday, 10 March.
