Deportivo's recent renaissaince is under severe threat after Mexican starlet Andres Guardado picked up an injury.
Deportivo La Coruna fans have had the shine taken off their two successive victories by an injury to Andres Guardado.
The Mexican prodigy lasted just twelve minutes against Real Betis at the weekend before succumbing to a recurring leg problem that kept him out of training for most of the week.
Now, it seems that he will be out for at least four weeks, missing both a set of crucial Depor ties and Mexico's international friendly with the United States in Houston.
Guardado, 21, signed on at the Riazor from CF Atlas this summer for €7m. He is Depor's top scorer so far this season with five strikes.
That's a pretty good strike rate for an untested left winger! One of the future stars of the Mexican team!
