............. my old mates John Robertson and Darren Jackson?

'Pop', as JR was known, was bought by Newcatle for Ã‚Â£625k and sold back to Hearts for Ã‚Â£750k in '88.

Dazza joined The Toon for Ã‚Â£60k in '86 and was sold to Dundee Utd. for Ã‚Â£200k in late '88.

Anyone remember them?

both nice bloke aye jackson was a bit of a wizard but Robertson as good as he was he was just too short for the team we had at the time cos big Dave Beasant liked to boot the ball into the other teams box and john could never win anything in the air.
