I was wondering is Keegan the right man to sort the mess out at Newcastle. I kno its probably to early to really tell. But he has made no big named signing as the papers were flooded with when he took over and is yet to win and game or even score a goal in 3 games. What do you all think?

as a newcastle supporter i would say no he is not the man for the job i think it'sa step backwards but only time will tell. One thing is for sure Mike ashley will back him 100% as he has no choice in the matter he has taken back to the club and cast aside sam so in the sumer i expect a lot of money to be available for players.

Is Kevin Keegan the right man for the job? Big question very early into his reign. And the answer seems quite obvious - no. He has been away from top-flight and top-club management for a long time. Each and every game missed is an eternity is this day and age in the football world. However, the pressure is on for him to perform with the club, and for the club to back him.
Money, money, money. Something Newcastle have spent a lot of in recent years. Success. Something Newcastle has sorely missed for a long time. Does money equal success though? Not everytime. And just how much can Newcastle afford to spend without results, before something in the equation gives? There seems to be a lot more question than answers. Time will tell, but there might just be too little time for Keegan to play with if things don't improve soon. He may just be starting his reign, but Newcastle are well into a period of time with no reward. |
