Has Not Won Any TOTM Yet ![]() |
I thought Preston looked a cracking bet to beat Derby in the last round and I reckon they are well worth a poke in this one at the current odds. A quick look at the league tables would give you the impression that Portsmouth were bankers here and I have no doubt there will be plenty of lemmings smashing into the odds-on late doors on Sunday after doing their conkers on Saturday's matches. However, it's worth noting that Preston have won their last four at home (including wins over high-flyers Watford and West Brom) and they will be up for it at Deepdale in a big way. My gut feeling is the 100/30 on offer about them taking their second Premiership scalp in as many rounds could look a very shrewd bit of business around quarter to six on Sunday night.
