Default William Gallas

Is this guy the biggest sulker in Premiership history?

I always have admired him as a defender - but he really needs to control his temper

Today he really shown himself up against Birmingham towards the end of the game when Blues were awarded a penalty - he decided to walk almost the full length of the pitch away from the penalty so he couldn't see it - when McFadden converted it he then ran towards the dug-out like a raged demon willing to kill somebody - he had to be pulled back - he was booked but IMO he should of been sent off

Then at the final whistle he decides to stay on the pitch crying - to me thats pressure and Man United must be rubbing there hands together watching on with a big smile on there faces

But on the other hand we are talking about Arsenal's captain here - a man breaking down when things don't go his way - is that really the kind of person to have who is your club captain? - my answer is no as if he can't handle the pressure he shouldn't be wearing the band - instead he should of regrouped his players and gave them all a confidence boost in the dressing room - i mean it's not like they lost the game - ok they conceded the draw but both Blues goals was never to be

The FA are bound to take some action now against him after letting him off last week against the challenge on Nani

I agree with you - the season is far from over and he breaks down and crys like he's just lost in the final of the world cup or something - no way for a captian to re-act he's showed a lack of leadership and AW should take the arm band off him and give it to someone else.

what a pranny!! I watched MOTD last night and I agree with what was said on there.....it has got to have Sir Alex laffing all the way to the title because what Gallas did showed that he now believes the title is out of their hands and that the pressure is getting to the Gunners. Man U thrive on pressure and have got enuff great players in the team to take advantage of the situation at Arsenal.

Agree with you 007 & T-Babe - the armband IMO should be on Fabregas or Hleb's arm as there both winners and leaders and would respect it more IMO

T-Babe your spot on about the pressure bit - United love it and there take that as a huge insentive going into there next game - prolly spurned them on going into the game against Toon to be honest

how can birmigham get 2 points against arsenal i was expecting at least 4 points to arsenal
To be fair both Blues goals wasn't - it was never a freekick to start with that lead to there first goal - and the penalty the ref got wrong for me - Clichy won the ball fair and square - are the FA giving 4-points for a win these days tho?

Fabregas and Hleb would be rubbish captains, the armband should be on King Kolo's arm, Gallas needs a good slap, and the birmingham goals should never have been allowed. And Adebayor should have passed it to Bendtner, which would have killed the game off!

How can you say that after they way he carried off against Birmingham??? Arsenal are under pressure and Gallas showed that. The team as whole showed that against Man U in the cup!! Mr Wenger should have read him the riot act in the dressing room fined him a months wages and keep him on the sidelines for their next match!! PRANNY!!!!!!

Captains dont act like that. He needs to encourage his team mates not stage a sulk on the pitch

Look at all great captains, do they all go off and start kicking banners? Do they go off and sit in the middle of the pitch and have a sulk?

Great captains are always their raising their team and putting themselfs second and the team first. Gallas will never be a great captain.

As you all say Fergie will be laughing all way to the title. The man has seen it all before notably with Keegan a few years back. Water off a ducks back for Fergie, and as yet has anybody beat him at 'mind games'

Certainly not Wenger & Keegan
