When does banter cross the line?

At the Arsenal game yesterday, the stewards had their hands full as many Arsenal fans reacted to Villa fans signing about Eduardo's injury.

I like Villa, and their fans are genuinely very loyal and not known for trouble (sic Brum) But this was uncalled for. Eduardo had done nothing to them.

If Eduardo's career had been declared as over, I do wonder if they would have done this, but I think it was still uncalled for.

I also remember when Alan Smith broke his leg, and some fans outside OT threw stones and rocked the ambulance as it left the ground. That was disgraceful, but this is yet another example of when fans go one step too far.

I've heard a chant about Eduardo only having one leg... who makes up this c**p!!!

If it was one of their players they surely wouldn't be chanting about him having only one leg!!

Totally out of order and no need for it but i would ay it was only a small minority as most Villa fans are gutted for Eduardo

i'm afraid you get this at every club as every club as a few idiots, it's a shame really as they bring bad news on the club.

SICKOS!!!!!! Thats not banter!!! the 'people' who sing this rubbish are not people they are animals with no consience whatsoever about what their comments provoke. not proper fans and shouldnt be allowed inot a football ground!!!

the best bit of banter i heard was at the KC when sheff wed came to town and they were winding Deano up calling him a 'fat b*stard' and the like and when he scored were started singing 'to the fat b*stard 1-0' lol

Completely disgraceful. How people can sing about something like this and think its funny is appaling and in many ways scary that some loonies in this world think its ok to sing such terrible songs.
