Mick McCarthy says that Wolves must go all out for wins as they strive to get back into the play-off positions.
The team go into the weekend's game against Stoke in 11th position but only two points behind sixth spot.
The boss insists: "It's still all to play for.
"We've got 16 games left, so can we get another three wins out of four games like we just have. That's what we need. draws are no good.
"You ask can we still catch the top two? Well, we can try but the play-off places are open to a lot of teams.
"Playing catch up can be a plus. If you are already there and drop out it can be a knock to your confidence. If we get back in the top six it will be because we are on an upward curve."
The boss insists that tomorrow's opponents will provide Wolves with more than just a physical threat.
He says: "I've watched them and they have a good mix of players.
"I think too much is made of them being a physical side."
