Wolves game in doubt - Page 3

Despite a valiant effort by the groundstaff, Wolves game with Scunthorpe was called off by referee Mark Haywood at 5.40pm.

Two huge generators and six industrial fans and heaters were drafted in to the ground to try and thaw out the affected area of playing surface but the pitch was still deemed to be unplayable.

The fixture joins several other Tuesday night games that have fallen foul of the weather.

Fair enough they got heaters and that in but they should of done it earlier!!!

Amazing really. They only found out the pitch was frozen at 3pmish!

Feel sorry for scunny fans as they would of travelled. Also wolves fans as we have fans in manchester london cardiff plymouth kent everywhere! Wasted journey!!!

yeah i see your point anton lol just cant beleive why hey left it so late for an inspection when they new the damages this morning

not good at all that kate a shambles all round at wolves at the moment . fans are getting pi..ed off and the crowds are and will continue to dissapear . I think mick will go at end of the season .

agree mate you know how much i have defended him but now im struggling to do that. Certainly not helping his self by not playing our best 11

couldnt agree more , i , like u have not gave up on him but im loosing my patience now , its not goot at wolves and he could be out b4 rafa.
